From Beat to Video: My Journey to Video Production at Zion5
I have always felt at home in the world of sound, but I gradually realized that image and sound are two sides of the same coin. My journey to video was not accidental – it was a gradual school that began in the iconic Istropolis and today culminates in a modern video-podcast studio.

1. Istropolis and the First Cut: “Even More”
My first real contact with Adobe Premiere came while working on the music video for the song “Even More”. At that time, our studio was located on the 11th floor of the now demolished Istropolis.
Thanks to the collaboration with Oreo and professionals like Martin Hudák and Milan Valo, I began to understand how TV shows work, their structure and dynamics. Working on sound clips and commercials for TV stations like Markíza taught me that video requires the same precision as the soundtrack. This is where I first started editing and giving full attention to video.

2. Viewfinder School: Ekotopfilm
An important turning point was the Ekotopfilm festival. This is where I began to realize myself in shooting and creating short films, which also included preparing content and dubbing documentaries. It was during this period that I began to learn more about technology - what a real camera is, how different lenses work and how important lighting design is for the resulting atmosphere.

3. Mastery of Light from ORF (Eisenstadt)
My technical knowledge moved to a new level during training at ORF Eisenstadt under the guidance of seasoned filmmaker Achim Dunke. There I learned that light is not just about visibility, but about modeling space and emotion, which I use in every shoot today.

4. Animation and world localization
My video creation gradually expanded to include short animations and localization of product videos for major clients. An example of such work is visual communication for brands like SodaStream for themed campaigns. This precise work with detail in the commercial sphere helped me understand how to visually present a product in a way that would catch the eye within a few seconds.

5. 2023: My own podcast studio and the DaVinci era
In 2023, I built our current podcast studio, which brought with it a whole new level of professionalism. Regularly filming for clients in projects like PodCustoms, Fightcast, Consulting Hours taught me to solve real problems directly in the process.
Today, I no longer rely solely on chance. DaVinci Resolve Studio software has become my main tool, thanks to which I can do “miracles” in post-production – from digital lighting and retouching to advanced masking and sharpening.

Today, I enjoy shooting and editing more than ever. Zion5 is no longer just about music, it's a place where your story gets a professional visual form, backed by years of experience in both television and artistic creation.
Do you have a project in mind that needs not only good sound, but also top-notch visuals? Whether it's a podcast or an advertisement, I'd love to help you avoid beginner mistakes and create something that looks world-class. What vision would you like to realize in our studio first?
